Are marks MIL-STD-130 compliant?
Yes. We produce MIL-STD-130 compliant Item Unique Identification (IUID) marks, including ECC 200 Data Matrix codes encoded in the ISO/IEC 15434 envelope and read back before shipment. MIL-STD-130 references ISO/IEC 15415 for symbol quality; if your contract requires a print-quality grade or verification report, let us know at the RFQ stage.
Do you provide Certificates of Conformance?
CoC is available on request at no additional charge. Certificates document substrate, process parameters, operator, date, and the read-back result for each code.
How do you verify marks?
100% of serialized codes are scanned before shipment and the decoded string is compared to the source data row for that part or label. A code that does not read, or reads back the wrong data, is reworked or flagged. If your contract requires ISO/IEC 15415 graded verification, let us know when you request a quote.
