Catalog tag suppliers are built for plant-wide programs: minimums of fifty or a hundred, a setup charge, and lead times measured in weeks. That is the wrong shape for an electrician who needs disconnect tags before the inspector arrives, a panel builder who changed three legends on a drawing revision, or a mechanical contractor closing out a job with a valve schedule in hand.
A fiber laser does not care whether the run is one tag or a thousand. Tags are cut from sheet to the size you need, the text is driven straight from your list, and there is no tooling, plate, or ribbon to set up. So a small order is quoted as a small order and ships in days.
The same process produces stainless equipment and compliance plates and ASME and NBIC code nameplates when the job calls for more than a tag.
